| Adam has earned a B.A. in Foreign Languages/Spanish
and a M.Ed. from the University of Arkansas. He will graduate from the University
with a Ph.D. in Public Policy in 2006. Adam began his professional career with
the JCPenney Company, where he served as Merchandise Manager. After five years
with JCPenney, he joined the Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. team, where he served as Product
Development Manager and supported the development and introduction of a new apparel
label. After three years with Wal-Mart, he accepted an offer with Donald W. Reynolds
Boys & Girls Club, where he served as Director of Public Affairs and Operations.
At the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club, Adam was able to apply his business
background and establish new divisions of the Club. He also served on the Southwest
Diversity Committee and implemented successful multicultural outreach initiatives
positioning the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club to receive the regional
"Vision for Unity" award, which is awarded to a Club for outstanding
achievement in the creation and maintenance of an inclusive workplace. Adam, Director
of Diversity and Inclusion at SVI, currently leads the Diversity and Inclusion
practice. He has a passion for researching and developing Diversity and Inclusion
best practices, which has reflected throughout his career. Adam has also undertaken
several research projects on diversity and inclusion that have sought to assess
and improve practice through empirical research. Adam's passion for working with
people continues with his role as a Board Member of the Pagnozzi Charities Endowment
Fund, a Council Member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church Parish Council, a Public
Affairs Committee Member for the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club, and
a member of the Northwest Arkansas Hispanic Advisory Council.
